Shipt is looking to hire a Technical Recruiter focused on building out Shipt’s Engineering and Technical teams. We are founded on the mission of simplifying lives and serving members, shoppers, and communities by offering convenience and freedom.

This role is what we call “wearer of many hats”, as you will act as hiring manager, HR representative, analytics professional, and recruiting Dalai Lama (mentor)! In this role, you will face both technical, operational, and integration challenges as you seek to find the optimal balance between the needs of our hiring managers and the needs of our business. You are a natural leader and take ownership and pride in the quality of your work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Dev Ops teams to define premier recruiting and onboarding solutions.
  • Be the external liaison for Shipt, reaching out to internal and external networks to identify, engage, attract, and retain the best talent for Shipt.
  • Stay apprised of all current recruiting technology and be able to evaluate and gauge new solutions to attract the top talent.
  • Attend technology networking events and meetups to network with potential job seekers.
  • Provide status updates to hiring managers, HR, and business partners.
  • Establish hiring processes and procedures, and assist managers on sheparding candidates through these processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3+ years as a Recruiter, with a focus on recruiting technology candidates.
  • Experience with multiple ATS/HRIS systems (Bamboo and Greenhouse preferred).
  • Experience working cross functionally with many different leaders across multiple divisions.
  • Savant knowledge of Boolean logic and search engine optimization for recruiting.
  • Excellent self-learner and can pick up new skills in a matter of hours or days.
  • You have excellent project management skills; can execute quickly on assigned recruiting projects.
  • Combines strong execution skills with a real passion for building great candidate experiences.
  • Experience defining recruiting metrics and using those metrics to drive recruiting decisions.
  • Extraordinary communication skills which allow you to bridge the gap of a multi-office environment.
  • Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to work in a hyper-growth environment. In other words, roll up your sleeves and thrive in a fast-paced start-up.
